How do you pick a denomination of (Christian) religion?

My spouse is Catholic, I am not. My spouse will only go to a Catholic Church. We have 3 very young children whom I would like to raise in a Christian Church. I'm not sure about Catholicism. I was not raised in any particular religion. We move every 4 years or so, and I'm not sure how to "pick a church" or a religion. I don't know anyone (where we live now) very well. Any ideas?
