Thawing our cuban relations- good or bad?

So as many of you also are, I am a web news addict reading the mainstream idiot media talking about re-thawing cuban relations. Sounds good to me. However, I am not the smartest tool in the shed on everything. Hoping someone can tell me why it is good OR bad. I am not trolling for a specific response here, I truly want some insightful thoughts.
