Will with my long-distance fiance get less painfull?

My fiance and I have a long distance relationship (he is in pennsylvania and I live in Texas). He's getting ready to move down, but until then, he's spending as much time as he can here, which is about a week every month or so. He has a larger-than-normal , and when we have , it's wonderfull, but I'm always internally sore afterwards, no matter how gentle we are. Will this go away when he finally moves down and I get used to it? What can I try to keep this pain from happening? PS. Lube hasnt helped.
