Video of an aircraft taking off from the inside of the aircraft?

This is similar to other questions regarding this, but with a different twist on it. I will be taking off from Boston in a few days, and I was wondering if I can take a video of the plane taking off while I'm inside the plane. I know the rules state that all electronic devices with an off switch be turned off. But my cell phone is a PDA, that means that when I turn the phone off, I can use all of the functions of the phone except texting and calling, would that be okay if I took the video, because the phone would be in the off mode.
